Artel’s DV6000 and DL4000 are Now Interoperable

Boxborough, MA — October 14, 2009 — Artel Video Systems is pleased to announce that it has expanded the capabilities of the widely deployed DV6000 video and data network to include interoperation with the DL4000 Video Transport Platform.  This Integration includes tributary access to DV6000 networks for Analog Video and Audio, SDI, ASI, 10/100 Ethernet traffic as well providing for  a cost effective repeater for DV6016ES chassis.

Newly developed DV6000 modules provide both optical and electrical access to DV6000 networks for native SDI, SDTI, and DVB-ASI. This enables integration between DV6000 and many DL4000 video modules.  For added flexibility, the DLC200 module provides tributary access for 10/100 Ethernet traffic. Interoperation between DV6000 and DL4000 provides DV6000 users with increased flexibility as well as significant cost and space savings.  These upgrades and integration demonstrate Artel’s continued support of one the world’s most widely deployed video transport platforms.
